A troubling scene from the funeral of the late Mamponghene, Daasebre Nana Osei Bonsu II, has triggered widespread attention after a video emerged showing one of Nana Kwame Bediako’s (popularly known as Cheddar) bodyguards physically assaulting a man in broad daylight.

Following public outrage and the initial press release, a new video surfaced on Sunday, June 8, 2025, showing a more personal resolution. In the footage, Cheddar and members of his team met privately with the assaulted man. The bodyguard involved in the incident was present and personally apologized to the victim.
