The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued an order for service personnel posted to Civil and Local government institutions to report to work amid the ongoing strike action by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOSAG).

In a statement, the Authority noted that service personnel are not members of CLOGSAG and therefore not covered by the strike action.

“The Authority has observed that the strike action by CLOSAG has affected operations in some institutions where National Service Personnel have been deployed.

“Accordingly, all NSP serving in institutions under CLOSAG are required to continue reporting to their respective places of posting and carry out their assigned duties as expected.”

It further encouraged them to exhibit commitment to their national duty and offer their services in support of the institutions to which they have been assigned.

“The Authority appreciates the cooperation and dedication of all National Service Personnel in contributing to national development,” it added.
