Authorities in Suffolk County say they’ve made one of the largest drug busts in the county’s history, seizing more than $2 million in narcotics during a raid on a Holbrook home.
Investigators allege that 28-year-old Jessica Medina Reavis and her boyfriend, Caleb Moore, were running a major trafficking operation that moved cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and other substances across Long Island. Detectives say undercover officers made five controlled purchases from the pair before securing warrants to search their Tarkington Road residence.
That search led to a massive discovery of illicit substances and extended the investigation to a Patchogue business, Gator Motor Sports, operated by Moore’s father. Authorities reported finding an additional 80 pounds of cannabis at the site, which is now undergoing lab testing.
Prosecutors say the couple went as far as using an old police car, legally purchased at auction, to give the impression they were connected to law enforcement. Both suspects pleaded not guilty in court but are facing charges as major drug traffickers, some of the most serious under New York law.
Officials have called the bust a record-setting seizure for Suffolk County, particularly noting it as the largest crystal meth confiscation to date. The case remains under active investigation.
