Following the devastating loss of highlife legend Daddy Lumba, reports indicate that his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, has traveled from Germany in preparation for her husband’s one-week funeral rites.

According to a social media update shared by blogger Bigscout Nana Prempeh, Akosua Serwaa briefly returned to Germany shortly after the singer’s passing, but only to organize her return to Ghana and join the bereaved family for upcoming mourning activities.

Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, died on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments after reportedly falling ill at his East Legon residence. His death sent shockwaves across the nation, drawing heartfelt tributes from musicians, politicians, traditional leaders, and fans alike.
