Personnel of the Ghana Police Service stationed at the Dambai barrier in the Oti Region have intercepted a long trailer truck reportedly carrying substances labelled as Indian hemp.

The truck, with registration number GW 1943-09, was suspected of transporting parcels of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

A Ghana News Agency (GNA) reporter observed Lance Corporal Kwame Boateng, Corporal Emmanuel Adjei and Lance Corporal Iddi Baba interrogating the driver and his mate after the discovery of the suspected narcotics concealed within the vehicle’s frame.
