Deborah Seyram Adablah, a social media influencer, has been sentenced to 45 days in prison after being found guilty of insulting the judge overseeing her case. Seyram gained attention in 2023 when she sued her alleged Sugar Daddy, Ernest Nimako, a banker, for breach of promise.
She claimed he failed to fulfill the commitments he made during their relationship.
The legal drama escalated in May 2023, when the Accra High Court ordered Seyram to return a vehicle given to her by Nimako as part of the case settlement.
However, she failed to comply with the court’s order. In response, the court issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
Amid this legal battle, videos surfaced online where Seyram was seen attacking the judiciary, resulting in her being charged with contempt of court.
After a legal process, a judgment was handed down, sentencing her to 45 days behind bars. Despite the ruling, Seyram posted a video on social media assuring her followers that she would be fine and expressing her resilience.
This incident has sparked widespread discussions online, drawing attention to both Seyram’s legal issues and the broader implications of contempt of court in the country.
