The Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has demanded the removal of an individual illegally registered as the Chief of Nkyeraa.
It comes after intelligence that an individual had been presented to the National House of Chiefs, bypassing established procedures.
“I have noticed that someone’s name has been clandestinely submitted for registration as chief of Nkyeraa at the National House of Chiefs.”
Otumfuo called for the delisting of the said person immediately by the Research Committee of the House when they appeared before the Regional House during its meeting on December 19, 2025.
His Majesty also demanded sanity in the operations of the House.
“Some of your people are doing mischief over there; be vigilant and do your work as demanded by law.”
