Diana Asamoah Calls Out Prophet Adom Kyei Duah Over Alleged Exploitation of Ghanaians’ Faith
Controversial gospel musician, Diana Asamoah, has launched a sharp attack on Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, accusing the Ghanaian man of God of exploiting the faith of Ghanaians for financial gain.
In an interview on Accra-based Angel FM, Asamoah didn’t hold back, condemning the actions of some men of God in the country who she believes are using their spiritual platforms to enrich themselves.
Asamoah criticized the practice of selling items like sobolo, water, and other religious products, claiming that these items are being marketed not for the benefit of the buyers but to serve the financial interests of the pastors.
She pointed out that many of these pastors have realized that offerings from churchgoers are insufficient, leading them to devise new methods to make money from their followers.
In her words, Diana Asamoah stated that there is no divine power in the items sold by these men of God, implying that they are merely tactics for manipulating the congregation.
Her comments have sparked debate, with some agreeing with her assessment of the situation, while others have defended the religious practices in question. The controversy surrounding Asamoah’s remarks is likely to continue as discussions on the commercialization of religion in Ghana remain a sensitive topic.
