Ghanaian gospel sensation Diana Hamilton has revealed that her energetic, talkative nature influences nearly every aspect of her life, from songwriting to fan interactions.

In a candid chat on Hitz FM, Hamilton described herself as overwhelmingly sanguine—a personality type known for enthusiasm, sociability, and infectious energy. She joked that her sociability is so extreme she could hold a conversation with anything, even a ghost.

Hamilton estimated her sanguine traits at around 90 percent, saying her outgoing nature fuels her creativity and everyday interactions. She playfully noted that this side of her personality also has a “male” influence that helps her in the creative process.

Her love for connecting with people once inspired a career path far from music. Hamilton admitted she had seriously considered becoming a journalist or newscaster, drawn by her passion for conversation and storytelling.

The gospel star explained that her natural warmth, humour, and ability to energize spaces have been critical to her artistic journey. These traits, she says, allow her to engage audiences effortlessly, both on stage and off, shaping the lively persona her fans admire.
