The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament has begun its sitting to scrutinise the audited accounts of the government and its agencies on Monday, January 12, 2025.
The committee is hearing the report of the Auditor-General on the management of petroleum funds for the period January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
PAC is mandated to examine the audited accounts of the government and its agencies, and to ensure accountability and transparency in the public sector.
The Ministry of Education, led by the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Clement Abas Apaak, is currently before the committee.
