Ghanaian Gospel musician Empress Gifty has made an emotional visit to her late mother’s grave, where she poured anointing oil and powder on the tombstone as a final farewell.
Her mother, Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan—popularly known in the Kumawood film industry as Agaga—was laid to rest just weeks ago. Despite her busy schedule, Empress Gifty felt compelled to return to the graveside to honour her mother’s memory.
In a video shared on social media, the singer was seen visibly emotional as she performed the touching tribute. She accompanied the video with the caption:
“My irreplaceable mother Agaga, I miss you. Exactly one month ago you left us. Maa, may your soul rest in peace.”
