Ghanaian dancer, Endurance, has shared insights into her current relationship with her former colleague, Afronita, following the latter’s departure from DWP Academy.
In a recent interview on Joy Prime monitored by News & Vibes, Endurance revealed that despite Afronita’s exit from the academy, they remain on good terms, putting to rest any speculation of tension between the two dancers.
Addressing the ongoing comparisons made between them on social media, Endurance admitted that while such comparisons can be frustrating, they do not allow it to create animosity.
She acknowledged that the frequent comparisons are an inevitable part of being in the same industry, where competition and rivalries are often exaggerated by fans and followers.
She expressed understanding of how these comparisons could be upsetting for both her and Afronita, but made it clear that they are both committed to moving past it and focusing on their individual journeys.
She noted that both dancers are talented in their own right, and that they continue to pursue their passions while remaining supportive of each other’s growth.
Endurance also took a moment to praise Afronita for her recent accomplishments, including her performance on *Britain’s Got Talent* (BGT), and the efforts she has put into improving herself.
She expressed genuine admiration for Afronita’s achievements and highlighted that there is no bad blood between them, only mutual respect.
By focusing on their personal growth and maintaining a positive outlook on their relationship, both dancers continue to make strides in their respective careers, showing that there is room for multiple talents to thrive in the same industry without unnecessary conflict.
“ I am human and sometimes when I see how they compare us on social media, I get offended. And I am sure she also doesn’t like it. But we just move pass it because we are both talented and good at what we do. Afronita is going to be herself and I am also going to be myself. It is rather unfortunate that we find ourselves in an industry where comparison happens a lot.”
