EOCO Allegedly Storms Shatta Wale’s House Over Fraud Allegations

Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, is making headlines again — this time over a reported visit by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to his residence.

According to information sources, officials from EOCO showed up at Shatta Wale’s home on the morning of August 5, 2025, reportedly in connection with ongoing investigations into alleged fraud.

The musician himself brought the issue to public attention through his social media accounts, claiming the EOCO team — led by its current head, Raymond Archer — arrived with armed personnel.

Shatta Wale, who appeared visibly disturbed by the incident, expressed concern over the manner in which the visit was conducted. He questioned why a group of officers would show up at his home as if they were pursuing a criminal, simply over suspicions.
