QNET’s collaboration with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has contributed to the rescue of more than 300 victims of fraud and illegal migration schemes linked to the misuse of the company’s name, according to Bola Ray, Spokesperson and Country Business Agent for QNET in Ghana.

Speaking at a New Year media engagement in Accra, Bola Ray said the partnership with EOCO has been central to addressing criminal activities carried out by individuals falsely presenting themselves as QNET representatives.

He described the collaboration as one of the company’s major milestones in 2025, alongside the hosting of QNET’s first major regional African convention in Ghana.

Following his remarks, the Head of Compliance for QNET, Naana Quartay, provided further details on how the partnership with EOCO has translated into on-the-ground impact.

She explained that beyond formal cooperation, both institutions jointly carried out several roadshows across cities in Ghana, particularly targeting communities that are frequently affected by job scams and illegal migration schemes falsely branded as “QNET opportunities.”

Naana Quartay noted that intelligence sharing and coordinated action between QNET and EOCO have not only led to the reported rescue of more than 300 victims but have also supported the repatriation of foreign nationals who were deceptively brought into Ghana under false promises.

“In 2026, we look forward to expanding our roadshows and rolling out broader public awareness campaigns with EOCO,” she said, adding that sustained education at the community level remains critical to prevention.
