Dancehall star Shatta Wale has broken his silence following an unexpected visit from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) at his residence on Monday, August 5, 2025.
The musician revealed that EOCO officials, led by their boss Raymond Archer, showed up at his home — and they weren’t empty-handed. According to Shatta Wale, the officers arrived carrying guns, a move he described as extreme and unjustified.
Clearly upset by the incident, the artist took to social media to air his grievances. He questioned why EOCO treated him like a criminal, suggesting that the agency’s conduct goes against the values President Mahama stood for when appointing officials like Archer.
Shatta Wale didn’t hold back. He warned that such intimidating tactics could cost the NDC dearly at the polls in 2028, claiming that humiliating citizens isn’t what the party was elected to do.
He added that God is watching and reminded the EOCO boss that power should be used responsibly — not as a weapon to silence or disgrace people.
