Ghanaian singer Fameye has revealed that his appearance at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards came at a hefty price—more than $15,000. He made the revelation during a recent interview, where he discussed the full scope of what went into the standout stage performance.

According to the musician, a significant chunk of the funds went into custom-made costumes for both himself and his dancers, alongside elaborate set designs and stage props that brought his act to life. He also hired two directors to guide the overall execution of the show, ensuring it matched his creative expectations.

The entire project, he explained, was part of a detailed proposal he submitted to the event organizers in advance, which was eventually greenlit.

Fameye expressed contentment with how everything turned out, noting that the final production aligned with his vision and was made possible thanks to the collaborative effort between his team and the award organizers.

The scale of the investment has sparked conversations online about how far artists go to make a lasting impression on stage.
