Family of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings dismisses circulating ‘will’ as false

The family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has strongly refuted claims circulating on social media suggesting the existence of a purported will attributed to her, describing the publication as false and misleading.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the Agyeman-Rawlings family stated that the document being circulated is a “concocted fabrication” and should be treated with “absolute contempt.”

According to the family, the publication does not represent the truth and did not originate from any authorised source connected to Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings or her relatives.

The statement further noted that appropriate steps are being taken to address the false publication.

The family also appealed to the public to respect the dignity and reputation of the former First Lady, stressing that they are still mourning her passing and require privacy during this period.

The statement was signed by Kobina Andoh Amoakwa on behalf of the Agyeman-Rawlings family.
