Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has made it clear that love is not on her radar, after clapping back at a fan who misread her latest Instagram post.
In a reflective update, the actress spoke about embracing a quieter lifestyle, crediting her healing journey for making her more private, selective, and emotionally unbothered. But when a fan jumped into the comment section asking if she was in love, Tonto didn’t hold back.
She fired back, saying she’s chasing money and power — not romance.
The response comes amid ongoing curiosity about her personal life, especially following her turbulent breakup with politician Prince Kpokpogri in 2021. Their relationship, which began publicly in June that year, ended in a storm of leaked voice notes, accusations of infidelity, and claims of manipulation.
Tonto alleged that Kpokpogri was a blackmailer and had an affair with dancer Jane Mena, even claiming he possessed a sex tape — an allegation Mena denied. Kpokpogri, on the other hand, blamed the split on Tonto’s alleged smoking and drinking habits, which she strongly refuted.
She later clarified that she ended the relationship herself after discovering Kpokpogri’s promiscuity through damning audio recordings.
Before that, Tonto was married to businessman Olakunle Churchill, with whom she shares a son. That marriage also ended in public controversy.
Now, the actress says she’s done with drama and focused on building influence, wealth, and inner peace — leaving love firmly off the table.
