A tragic discovery has shaken the farming community of Kpale-Xorse in the Volta Region, where a missing farmer was found dead under suspicious circumstances.

Mr Kodzo Delali Adovor, believed to be in his 50s, left home early on Monday, September 1, to tend to his farm but never returned. Concerned family members and neighbours launched a search that led them to his farmland, where they noticed bloodstains — a chilling sign that something had gone wrong.

The search ended the following evening when his body was found partially buried in a shallow stream behind the farm. The grim discovery has left the community reeling, with many describing Mr Adovor as a hardworking man devoted to his family.

Local leaders, including Assembly Member Divine Tutu, quickly alerted police, who visited the scene to collect evidence. Investigations are now underway to determine the cause of death and whether foul play was involved.
