Ghanaian-Dutch Afropop and Afrosoul artiste Flexclusive has released a new single titled “I Know,” a song that underscores the growing influence of diaspora musicians in shaping contemporary African music for global audiences.

The Ghanaian-born singer, who has been active in the music industry for over a decade, gained wider recognition after the remix of his single “Anything For You” received significant radio airplay in both Ghana and parts of Europe.

Since then, Flexclusive has steadily built a reputation for blending Afro-influenced rhythms with soulful melodies.

His latest release, “I Know,” delves into themes of love, emotional clarity and inner peace. According to the artiste, the inspiration behind the song comes from the belief that genuine love often brings calmness and certainty.

Industry observers say the rise of African musicians in the diaspora has significantly contributed to the global growth of Afropop and Afrobeats.

By fusing African musical traditions with international sounds, these artistes continue to expand the genre’s reach beyond the continent.

Currently based in Europe, Flexclusive says his multicultural background plays a major role in shaping his sound.

“Growing up with Ghanaian roots while living in Europe shapes the way I approach music. I try to create sounds that carry African emotion but can connect with listeners anywhere in the world,” he said.

Over the years, he has collaborated with a number of Ghanaian musicians and built a loyal following both at home and within the African diaspora.

With “I Know,” Flexclusive hopes to further contribute to the global Afropop movement while staying rooted in his Ghanaian heritage.
