Musician Kofi Kinaata has revealed that his passion for football delayed his music career. In an interview on Opemsuo radio, he stated that football initially confused him and distracted him from his true calling.
“Football confused my music career, and I would have started earlier if not for it,’ he said. “I was a serious football player, and my coach was even angry that I was spending time in the studio instead of focusing on the sport.”
Kinaata also talked about his football team in Takoradi, which he founded out of love for his community. He revealed that he funds the team himself, and they are gradually growing. He believes that with time, the team will become one of the best in the country.”
