Maxwell Kofi Jumah, former Managing Director of the Ghana Industrial Holding Corporation (GIHOC) and ex-Mayor of Kumasi, has stated that he will not take up any political appointment if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) comes into power.
After a long career in public service, he has decided to step back from holding government positions, choosing instead to focus on his personal life.
Despite turning down political roles, Jumah is willing to provide advice and guidance to government appointees and party members. His approach emphasizes sharing expertise without formal involvement or the pursuit of official titles.
This decision highlights Jumah’s intent to remain influential in an advisory capacity while prioritizing personal pursuits over active participation in government roles.
