Ghanaian rapper Kojo Cue has crowned Sarkodie as the undisputed king of rap in the country, stating that no other artist comes close when it comes to consistency, influence, and achievements.
Speaking in an interview with MC Portfolio on Kumasi’s Angel FM, Kojo Cue emphasized that Sarkodie’s catalogue of hits, massive fanbase, and unmatched collection of awards make him Ghana’s greatest rapper of all time. He argued that the evidence speaks for itself—numbers, longevity, and recognition all tilt heavily in Sarkodie’s favor.
Cue acknowledged that legendary rapper Lord Kenya once had the potential to rival Sarkodie’s dominance. However, Kenya’s early exit from the industry, he explained, makes it impossible for him to compete with Sarkodie’s extensive discography and career milestones.
