The Ga community has celebrated distinguished individuals whose contributions have significantly impacted societal growth and development at the Ga Awards and Dinner Night, held on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

The event, which took place at the Wesley Methodist Cathedral near Makola in Accra, brought together traditional leaders, professionals, community members and other stakeholders to recognise Ga personalities noted for their leadership, dedication and selfless service.

Speaking at the ceremony, organisers said the initiative was established to acknowledge Ga men and women whose contributions often go unrecognised despite their impact in areas such as education, culture, business, public service and community development.
