The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to be in stable condition after being involved in a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday February 18, 2026, according to myjoyonline.com report.
The incident is reported to have occurred around 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region while the King was returning to Accra from Tamale.
Palace sources disclosed that the Ga Mantse had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa.
The engagement was described as cordial and significant, forming part of ongoing efforts by traditional leaders to deepen unity and strengthen bonds of mutual respect among Ghana’s revered institutions.
On his return journey, the vehicle conveying the King was involved in the accident. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt and is said to be in good spirits.
