- The Service stressed that official recruitment notices will only come from its verified platforms.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has debunked a widely shared recruitment letter claiming that clearance had been granted for the hiring of 50,000 teachers and non-teaching staff.
In a statement released on Sunday, September 21, 2025, the Service’s Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenny, described the circulating document as fake, stressing that it did not originate from GES or the Ministry of Education.
According to the Service, no recruitment exercise has been announced, and the public should treat the letter as fraudulent. GES further emphasized that any genuine recruitment exercise would be communicated only through its official channels and those of the Ministry of Education.
The statement advised Ghanaians to disregard the false letter and report any scams associated with it to prevent unsuspecting job seekers from being exploited.
This clarification comes as social media platforms have increasingly become a breeding ground for fake notices targeting desperate job seekers.
