Ghana has minerals but no wisdom to manage them - New Force leader

New Force leader Nana Kwame Bediako has remarked that African economies, including Ghana’s, are failing due to mismanagement of mineral resources.

He highlighted Ghana’s wealth in resources but criticized the lack of wisdom in their management, which he believes contributes to the country’s decline.

Describing Ghana as a rich nation, Bediako lamented that only a few Ghanaians and foreigners benefit from the country’s riches, while the majority struggle.

Promising to enrich Ghanaians, Bediako pledged to redistribute the nation’s wealth equitably. He emphasized that Ghana doesn’t need mere politicians but visionary leadership to progress.

“We require leadership; there’s a distinction between leaders and politicians. While politicians follow programs, leaders come with a vision. Some leaders from America have brought positive changes, and the New Force aims to unify and empower the youth. New Force brings hope.”

Cheddar also addressed the citizen’s role, acknowledging that Ghanaians have sometimes been apathetic but emphasized the importance of responsible voting.

“Ghanaians have been taken for granted by politicians, but I cannot solely blame politicians since citizens freely voted for them.”
