Ayisha Modi Claims Rev. Obofour Used Her Bank of America Account for Suspicious Cash Transaction

Published:

Ghanaian socialite and music investor Ayisha Modi has made serious allegations against popular preacher Rev. Obofour, blaming him for the permanent restriction of her Bank of America account after a large cash transfer was processed through it.

During a TikTok Live session, Modi claimed that Rev. Obofour, known in private life as Kwaku Agyei Antwi, moved over $700,000 through her account to purchase a house.

She explained that she withdrew the amount and completed the property transaction on his behalf. However, the significant cash movement raised red flags with the bank, leading to her account being flagged and ultimately blocked.

She noted that since then, she has been unable to use the account, and all attempts to resolve the issue have been futile.

Expressing her frustration, Modi recounted how she has supported Obofour and his wife, Ciara Antwi, on multiple occasions without receiving any gratitude or acknowledgment in return.

She claimed that she had given them financial and personal assistance in the past, only for their relationship to turn sour.

This is not the first time Ayisha Modi has made public grievances against individuals she has helped.

She has built a reputation for assisting people in the entertainment and religious spheres, only to later voice dissatisfaction when conflicts arise.

While it remains unclear what led to her latest outburst, her past relationship with Rev. Obofour was once a close one, with her often referring to him and his wife as ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy.’

However, with this new revelation, it appears that any cordial relationship between them has deteriorated.

The allegations have sparked widespread discussion, with many questioning the nature of the financial transactions between Modi and the popular preacher.

As of now, Rev. Obofour has not publicly responded to the claims, leaving many waiting to see whether he will address the controversy.
