Gideon Boako hails Bawumia’s victory as true reflection of delegates’ will

The Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Dr Gideon Boako, has expressed satisfaction with the results of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary in the region, describing the outcome as a genuine reflection of the delegates’ choices.

Dr Boako highlighted that the strong backing for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, particularly within Tano North, signals the party members’ confidence in his leadership and their belief in his ability to guide the NPP to victory in the 2028 general elections.

“The overwhelming support for Dr Bawumia shows that our delegates trust his vision and are committed to the success of our party in the years ahead,” he said.

Speaking to the media after a large turnout in favour of Dr Bawumia over the weekend at Duayaw-Nkwanta and other constituencies across the Ahafo Region, Dr Boako thanked party delegates for their enthusiastic participation.

“I want to sincerely commend all our delegates for their dedication and for endorsing a leader they believe in,” he added.

He also praised the NPP Presidential Election Committee, chaired by Joe Osei Wusu, for conducting what he described as a “fair, transparent, and credible election.”

“The committee’s professionalism and impartiality are clear evidence of the NPP’s unwavering commitment to democratic principles and patriotism,” Dr Boako stated.
