God’s Grace Royal Tabernacle at Gomoa Akotsi has donated food and non-food items worth GH¢25,000 to inmates of the Village of Hope orphanage home at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region.

The donation, which was made on December 26, formed part of the church’s Christmas outreach activities.

The Founder of the church, Apostle David Agyemang Badu, and his wife, Prophetess Emelia Agyemang, together with members of the congregation, visited the orphanage to make the presentation.

Christian duty

In his remarks, Apostle Badu said caring for orphans and widows was a core Christian duty and should be practised by believers at all times.

He said the church was guided by the biblical principle that true religion was demonstrated through practical care for the vulnerable and a commitment to righteous living.

Apostle Badu said God’s Grace Royal Tabernacle had made it a policy to extend support to the needy during major Christian festive seasons such as Easter and Christmas.
