The executive members and patrons of the Gonjaland Association UK & Ireland (GLUK) paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sabah Zita Benson.

This marked their first official meeting since she assumed office.

The meeting featured productive discussions on a range of issues affecting Gonja citizens living in the UK, as well as ways in which the High Commission could support the association.

Both parties acknowledged that many of these challenges are shared by other Ghanaian communities across the United Kingdom.

Mrs Sabah Zita Benson expressed her willingness to lead and support community-based initiatives focused on key social issues, including health, legal awareness, and knife crime.
