Earlier notice

The Embassy of Ghana in Qatar, in a statement dated February 28, 2026, issued a security advisory to all Ghanaians residing in Qatar following a missile attack that impacted areas in Doha.

The embassy advised citizens to take immediate shelter and remain indoors until further notice.

The advisory urged Ghanaians to stay away from military sites and crowded areas to avoid exposure to danger and to keep essential supplies such as medication and food readily available.

It also encouraged citizens to obtain information only from official sources.

The recent escalation of the war had compelled the embassy to issue directives on evacuation.

Last week, two Ghanaians were injured in an attack at the Dubai International Airport.
