Dreams FC handed Medeama SC their fourth defeat of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday, March 22.
The Still Believe lads secured a 2-1 home win against the Yellow and Mauve lads to extend their recent unbeaten run.
Winfred Dormon’s side took the lead in the game through Aminu Adams after just 19 minutes played, as the home side’s early pressure paid off.
Medeama searched for an immediate response after going down but found none for their attacks in the opposition half.
Dreams took a 1-0 lead into the break.
Three minutes after the return from recess, the home team struck again. Abdul Razak Salifu was behind the goal this time as they took a commanding lead.
Despite going two goals down, Medeama still kept their head in the game, chasing a way back.
Their efforts did very little to the score until the 75th minute when Kelvin Nkrumah reduced the deficit.
However, it was all Ibrahim Tanko’s side could manage as Dreams held onto their lead to ensure they picked up all three points.
The defeat for Medeama means they now drop to second on the league table after Bibiani GoldStars won their game.
For Dreams FC, the win takes them to ninth in the table after 26 games.
