GTV Breakfast Show host Maltiti Sayida expertly hosted the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Center for Migration Studies (CMS) at the University of Ghana, Legon, marking two decades of impactful research, policy engagement, and academic leadership in migration studies. The anniversary event brought together academics, policymakers, development partners, students, and stakeholders from across the migration and development space to reflect on CMS’s journey and its contributions to national, regional, and global migration discourse.
With her trademark professionalism and poise, Maltiti Sayida steered the programme seamlessly, guiding discussions, panel sessions, and reflections on emerging migration trends, diaspora engagement, and policy reforms. Her role as host added clarity and energy to the event, ensuring that key messages from speakers and panelists were effectively communicated to the diverse audience present.
The 20th Anniversary celebration reaffirmed CMS’s commitment to evidence-based research, capacity building, and policy advocacy in migration governance. Held on the historic UG Legon campus, the event served as both a celebration of past achievements and a renewed call for stronger collaborations as CMS looks ahead to shaping migration policy and research for the next generation.
