Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah provides 500 streetlights, expands Ramadan support

The Member of Parliament for Salaga-South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has announced the provision of 500 streetlights for installation across the constituency to enhance security and improve safety in various communities.

The streetlight initiative forms part of her ongoing commitment to infrastructure development and the overall well-being of her constituents.

This latest intervention comes on the heels of an earlier donation of 650 bags of sugar, which were distributed to party branches, youth groups, women’s groups, the less privileged, chiefs, opinion leaders and religious leaders throughout the constituency as part of Ramadan support.

During the presentation ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive, Kassim Yazid Rabiu, and the Constituency Chairman, Haruna Abdul Aziz, expressed appreciation for the MP’s continued support and commitment to the development of Salaga-South.

In her remarks, the MP stated that the values of Ramadan—sacrifice, unity, and compassion—serve as a reminder of the importance of caring for one another. She prayed that Allah Almighty accepts the fasting of the faithful, blesses homes with peace, and strengthens unity across the constituency.

She reaffirmed that serving the people of Salaga-South remains her greatest honour.
