When a troll questioned the well-known Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon’s marketing strategies for film promotion, he was thrown into a social media frenzy.

Outraged by the inquiry, he declared that he had blocked the troll for reminding him of his obligations as a man.

Despite his well-established success in the Nollywood sector, Okanlawon was described as too aggressive in his advertising technique.

He retold the incident on his Instagram page and expressed his dissatisfaction.

The actor admitted that the criticism bothered him since it seemed to belittle his efforts and commitment to his trade.

He claims that the fan labeled his behavior as that of a newbie.

In order to highlight the difficulties men confront when trying to improve their financial circumstances, Okanlawon claimed that his aggressive marketing approach originated from his own experiences of financial hardship.

Deyemi Okanlawon shared his experience and said in the post that “brokenness” is the driving force behind his marketing strategy.

His answer illuminated the hidden challenges that many people have in the entertainment industry beneath the surface of success.

He said: Being broke as a man is degrading and frustrating. To every man who is putting in the work to change his financial status for the better, I hope you win soon bro, i hope things get better for you soon.
