American singer and songwriter Keri Lynn Hilson has praised Ghanaian global sensation Stonebwoy, describing him as “an angel on earth.”
Hilson noted that, unlike some artists whose offstage personalities feel worlds apart from their music, Stonebwoy’s true self is woven into every song he makes. She also highlighted his willingness to engage in meaningful conversations beyond the music scene.
“One thing I can say about Stonebwoy is that some people you meet are nothing like the music they make, and it kinda takes you aback, but with Stonebwoy he’s exactly the way he makes his records. He’s very calm, he’s very peaceful, he’s so in tune, he’s almost like an angel on earth. He serves a great purpose through his music but it’s really who he is,” Hilson said.
“And we’ve gotten to speak over the phone for several hours now and we’ve had conversations about love, about life,” she further stated.
Keri Hilson and Stonebwoy first collaborated on the 2020 track “Nominate,” a standout from his Fifth-Dimension album that earned recognition worldwide.
Her remarks about Stonebwoy will surely receive applause from the Bhim Nation camp.
