A Northern Lady who has changed her name to Maame Serwaa has said that if there is anything she regrets in life, it is being a Northerner.
The woman rushed to the host of Afisem and her crew to seek their support, stating that her boyfriend had made a fool out of her.
Speaking during the interview which Gh Page sighted on MFK Official on Youtube, the woman disclosed that she has changed her name from the Northern name given to her by her parents to Maame Serwaa.
According to her, she is a Northerner, however, she feels embarrassed and shy to be called a Northerner, hence, she hides it from her children and outsiders.
She added that, the Northern name given to her by her parents bore her so much that growing up, she had to change it to Maame Serwaa to look like an Ashanti.
