Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, a well-known figure in Ghanaian politics, has vehemently refuted claims suggesting that he has applied for or received any form of government scholarship.
In a recent statement released on X formerly Twitter, Ablakwa addressed the circulation of what he termed a “malicious and fake” list purportedly linking him to the GNPC Foundation Foreign Scholarship program.
Expressing his dismay at the dissemination of such unfounded allegations, Ablakwa urged the public to disregard the circulated list and treat it with contempt.
He particularly condemned the involvement of certain journalists whom he had previously respected for their failure to verify the authenticity of the information before publishing it.
In response to the defamation of his character, Ablakwa asserted that he had taken legal action by bringing the matter to the attention of his lawyers. He further indicated that he would announce his next steps in the near future.
