Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has indicated that he has an unbeaten record as the vice president which proves that he will do great when voted into power as president in the 2024 general elections.
According to him, Ghana needs creative minds, problem solvers, and generational thinkers.
and he has creative thoughts and a generational thinker who can solve problems which he can attest to with his impressive record as Vice-President.
He mentioned a few of the projects he has worked on.
These include the digital national identity system, which he claimed has resolved issues of exclusion and lack of national identity.
Additionally, he highlighted the national property address system, which addresses the issue of lack of property identity.
Another significant project he emphasized is mobile money interoperability, which resolves financial exclusion and encourages a cashless society.
He discussed the digitalization of public services, which increases efficiency and lowers corruption. The delivery of necessary medications to remote areas via drones was also cited as a critical initiative.
Furthermore, he referenced other policies, such as One Ambulance One Constituency and Agenda 111 hospitals.
Dr Bawumia is the first Muslim and Northerner to run for president under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) since 1992. Taking home 61.47% of the vote in the primaries, he won handily.
