Legendary Ghanaian rapper Obrafour has opened up about his relationship with fellow rapper Sarkodie, describing it as one rooted in mutual respect and humility.

In a video shared on TikTok on January 19, 2026, Obrafour revealed that he often feels uncomfortable when Sarkodie publicly credits him for his influence in the music industry.

According to him, Sarkodie has grown into a powerful brand, and despite his own role in the rapper’s early journey—especially through the iconic song “Saa Okodie No”—he feels unworthy of such deep reverence.

“Sarkodie is huge, but anytime he sees me and wants to kneel before me, it sometimes embarrasses me. I ask myself, who am I for Sarkodie to lie on the floor for me?” Obrafour said.

The veteran rapper added that he would rather see Sarkodie direct that level of respect toward God. He emphasized that his ability to influence Sarkodie’s career was only possible through divine guidance.

“If I had it my way, I would channel that respect to the Maker. When I first met him, I told him who he was and what God was going to do with him,” he noted.
