In the wake of the tragic boat accident claiming the lives of several individuals, including makeup artist Abigail Frederick and Nollywood actor Junior Pope, the grieving mother of Abigail, whose name is Angel Godwin, has spoken out about her daughter’s untimely demise.
In a heartfelt video shared on TikTok she directly addressed those responsible for taking her daughter to the river where the fatal accident occurred, urging them to face her.
She expressed her deep anguish, threatening to bare her soul to the heavens if they refused to acknowledge her pain.
Her mother recounted the sacrifices she made to provide her daughter with the best education possible, emphasizing Abigail’s academic prowess and dedication. Despite financial struggles, Abigail excelled academically, graduating with a first-class degree.
Angel lamented the cruel irony of losing her daughter, who had worked tirelessly to achieve her dreams, in such a tragic manner.
“I trained Abigail in one of the best schools. First class student just die for water like that. Abigail suffered, read day and night for school only to die like this.”
Reactions poured in from sympathetic netizens on TikTok, expressing their condolences and outrage over the loss. Many questioned whether any form of compensation could ease Angel’s profound grief and acknowledged the injustice of Abigail’s promising life being cut short due to negligence.
While the comments reflected a mix of sorrow, empathy, and calls for justice, they all underscored the deep impact of Abigail’s loss on her loved ones and the community at large.
