During an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, Kwame A Plus, the celebrated Ghanaian musician and politician, shared insights into his attempts to dissuade Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the influential leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, from aligning with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
A Plus revealed that he had earnestly advised Owusu-Bempah against embracing the NPP, feeling strongly that the party was not a suitable match for the revered pastor, cautioning him about the potential repercussions of such an affiliation.
Despite A Plus’s sincere counsel, Owusu-Bempah remained steadfast in his support for the NPP, a decision that has seemingly led to the pastor’s current series of legal challenges, culminating in his arrest and subsequent remand.
Reflecting on his interactions with Owusu-Bempah, A Plus highlighted how the pastor had dismissed his warnings, instead adamantly extolling the virtues of the NPP as the ideal government for Ghana.
However, following the pastor’s entanglement in legal troubles, A Plus found validation in his initial admonitions.
In fact, A Plus candidly admitted that he had pondered calling Owusu-Bempah to extend his congratulations upon hearing about the arrest, viewing it as a confirmation of his earlier prophecy that affiliating with the NPP would bring unforeseen challenges.
Despite the discord between A Plus and Owusu-Bempah over political allegiances, the former musician emphasized his endorsement of the pastor’s recent prophecy prophesying a triumph for National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama in the forthcoming December 7 elections.
Within this political landscape, A Plus expressed unwavering trust in this particular prophecy, deeming it as the sole prediction that resonated with him on a profound level.
