Musician King Paluta has revealed intimate details about his upbringing, shedding light on a childhood devoid of a father figure.
The Ghanaian artist shared that he only encountered his biological father at the relatively late age of 19 or 20, having been raised solely by his mother until then.
Reflecting on his upbringing, King Paluta expressed deep gratitude towards his mother, describing her as a pillar of strength and resilience.
“My mum worked tirelessly, doing whatever she could to provide for her children’s daily needs,” he recounted fondly in an interview on the Delay Show.
One of the most remarkable aspects of King Paluta’s upbringing was his mother’s unwavering focus on her children’s well-being. Despite being approached by potential suitors, she chose to remain single, prioritizing her children above all else. “My mum had countless opportunities for companionship, but she turned them all down. She was solely dedicated to raising us,” he explained.
Later in life, King Paluta’s father reentered the picture, prompting a significant shift in the family dynamic. “When my dad resurfaced, my mum made it clear that marriage was non-negotiable. So that’s when when they married,” he shared.
