I write my own songs so they can be original and mine – Twicy


Artiste Twicy, born Ernest Bright Arkwah, revealed in an interview with Zionfelix, monitored by News & Vibes, that his musical journey began during his teenage years.

During high school, Twicy’s passion for music led him to perform Akon songs, earning him popularity among his peers. He emphasized the importance of writing his own songs to maintain originality.

“I decided to write my own music so that when I receive accolades I can say it is original and mine.”

After completing high school, Twicy wasted no time and immediately pursued his musical aspirations by heading straight to the studio.

However, he acknowledged that his journey was fraught with challenges. Despite his talent and dedication, he faced setbacks, including unsuccessful attempts to gain recognition through platforms like the Hitmaker show.

“Journey has not been easy. I went to Hitmaker twice and they didn’t pick me. I think I was not matured. I later got a record label, and I have been with them for 5 years.”

Despite the obstacles, Twicy remains resilient in his pursuit of a successful music career, determined to make his mark in the industry.
