The well-known David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian musician has opened up about how he met his wife, Chioma Adeleke.
Davido disclosed in a recent interview monitored by News & Vibes that he had a meeting with Chioma prior to being a well-known and wealthy celebrity.
He said it was important that he met Chioma at that time because he would not have been able to think about getting married right away since he thought that women would only be attracted to him because of his wealth or status.
Davido highlighted how happy he was to be surrounded by those who knew him before he became well-known and wealthy.
He further said that in the past, a friend confided in him that he yearned for a marriage. Davido was moved by this chat and began to reflect on the value of real relationships.
Davido married Chioma after they lost their son, Ifeanyi.
According to Davido, they got married in order to be strong for each other as a family.
Recall that before their marriage, when Davido and Chioma paid a visit to Nigerian preacher and social media star Tobi Adegboyega in the UK, the clergy referred to Chioma as “our wife, real wife” following their cordial greetings.
