Relationship coach and pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo, has fired back at critics within the Christian community, stating that he feels insulted that “junior pastors” are questioning his recent decision to acquire a tattoo.

Speaking during a sermon, the outspoken preacher emphasised that spiritual ranks and authority levels must be respected.

According to him, not everyone is qualified to correct a leader entrusted with a larger spiritual mandate.

“I’m insulted because there is ranking in the spirit. My junior can’t talk when I am talking,” he declared, adding that some matters are beyond the understanding of those not operating at the same level.

Pastor Kingsley also referenced American evangelist Joyce Meyer, noting that she got a tattoo at about 80 years old.

He explained that his decision to post about it was influenced by his calling and the audience he leads.

“I posted it because my own position, my own calling, and my own constituency require that,” he revealed.

He maintained that leadership comes with different responsibilities and scope, insisting that his position and constituency demand actions others may not fully grasp.
