Ghanaian rapper Dadie Opanka has expressed his readiness to serve under the John Dramani Mahama–led government, should the opportunity arise.
Speaking in a recent interview shared on Instagram on January 14, 2026, the musician said he would be honoured to work with President Mahama, especially in the area of financial advisory services.
“Why not? I am willing and ever ready to work because it would be an honour. I only hope it comes to pass. President Mahama, since I am currently studying to become a financial adviser, I believe I can serve under your government,” he stated.
Dadie Opanka also praised President Mahama for what he described as significant improvements in the economy, noting that the high cost of living has reduced under his leadership.
According to the rapper, the President’s performance within his first year in office deserves commendation. He stressed that his support is not influenced by political allegiance.
“I must say he has done very well in his first year in office. I would rate him 7 out of 10. I am not an NPP or NDC supporter. I support any government that performs well. If it were the NPP doing this, I would also applaud them,” he added.
Dadie Opanka maintained that his comments are purely non-partisan and based solely on performance.
