Bobrisky, the controversial lifestyle influencer, received mixed reviews at the ‘Beast of Two Worlds’ movie premiere after winning the Best Dressed Female title.
Even though a number of stylishly attired female celebrities attended the event, Bobrisky was declared the winner and given a cheque for one million naira.
Internet users laughed when Bobrisky’s honor was announced, with others wondering how man could receive an award meant for women.
FS Yusuf humorously suggested that such a title was to be expected while pointing out the movie’s theme.
Tessi laughed at the whole thing, thinking that Bobrisky being named best dressed woman was a fun little moment.
By pointing out the irony of a transgender person getting an honor usually given to people of the original gender, Lifeofadefinition increased the hilarity, he said, “Imagine a transgender winning awards over the original gender.”
Bobrisky’s victory was defended by TopBoi, who complimented him on his sense of style and hinted that he exceeded some of the female attendance.
When a man was chosen to win the title of Best Dressed Female, Phil Dubem and Dobi expressed disapproval, with Phil jokingly challenging the reasoning behind the selection.
Dy Baby was dejected, speculating that these kinds of incidents were a sign of bigger problems in the nation.
