Former Member of Parliament Inusah Fuseini has alleged that the wife [Professor Angela Ofori-Atta] of embattled former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, once confronted former Attorney General Gloria Akuffo over what she described as the slow prosecution of National Democratic Congress (NDC) appointees under the Akufo-Addo administration.
According to Fuseini, he found himself at the center of the confrontation, which occurred at a gym he attends at the Ghana Air Force Facility.
Speaking on NewsFile on JoyNews on January 24, 2026, Fuseini said he overheard the conversation and offered to provide the names of other individuals present at the time for confirmation.

“I exercise in the same gym with them at Air Force, and I can state on authority that the wife [Professor Angela Ofori-Atta] of Ken Ofori-Atta picked a fight with Gloria Akuffo because she felt that Gloria Akuffo was not prosecuting former NDC appointees enough. I was in the gym,” he said.
He further alleged that the removal of the former Attorney General was largely linked to the perception that she failed to investigate and prosecute NDC members, who were then in opposition.
“I was in the gym, and the gym is a public space. There are many other parties I could mention, but I have just given you two names. So if you don’t want to reach out to the woman, and I know her personally, you can reach out to Gloria Akuffo,” he added.
Fuseini insisted the confrontation and subsequent political moves were done to satisfy personal interests and political ego.
“Gloria Akuffo was finally substituted, I mean removed from office because of the perception that she failed to prosecute people who were former appointees of the NDC,” he claimed.
